Here’s what our guests say about our lovely home in Begur.  These are taken from guest comments on Owners Direct and AirBnB, both of which are very strict about authenticity.  So, they’re honest.  Honest.

I am already missing this beautiful villa in Begur. The memory of waking up to such a serene ocean view every morning will stay with us for many months. 

The villa is fantastic and boasts multiple luxuries; three bedrooms, a pool, Jacuzzi and multiple terraces. The BBQ area was a favourite of ours to dine at, overseeing the magical ocean view in the background. The kitchen was well-equipped and the house was well stocked with all necessities like towels, bed linen etc. The villa is in a quiet neighbourhood so we slept incredibly well.

Begur is also a charming historical town, with a beautiful village square and winding streets lined with great restaurants and local shops. On the top of the hill is an old Romanesque fortress with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. There are several beaches and waterfront places to discover only few minutes away by car.

We couldn’t ask for a better or more attending host who made sure every enquiry was quickly responded to. If we experienced any issues he was always on hand to sort them out.

Overall you’d be hard pressed to find better value for money and a nicer host! We are already planning to return next summer.

‘Wow’ pretty much sums up our time at this house and in Begur in general! Between the house, the town and the stunning coastline, we were incredibly spoiled during our stay.

The house was exactly as listed, spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. My partner, the chef, found everything he needed in the kitchen and enjoyed firing up the BBQ on the top terrace most evenings, from where the views of the sunset were nothing short of spectacular.

The pool was a great size, sparklingly clean and also shared the same gorgeous vista over the coastline; we spent several days on this terrace enjoying the weather and cooling off at our leisure in the water, pure bliss.

Begur itself is an historic town, full of beauty and delicious food. There are lots of local wares for sale in the little shops lining the streets and so many great restaurants to suit a variety of tastes, my only tip is to book a table to avoid disappointment.

The owner was a dream to deal with – great communication both prior to our stay and during, when we’d asked for restaurant recommendations and received a message back almost immediately. Friendly and responsive, they made the booking process very easy.

If you’re looking for somewhere calm and restful with beautiful views and a myriad of activities in the local area, then this is the property for you!

We had the most amazing of times at Buenavista Villa in Begur ! We’ll never be able to thank Jerry enough for letting us stay at his place this past 4 days. Begur is a beautiful and wonderful place. We vividly recommend you to visit it. You will find amazing beaches and “calas” to relax and enjoy. Don’t trust the weather forecast, we were supposed to meet wind and rain during the whole week end but Begur welcomed us with big sun and enjoyable heat. The house was exactly as described and pictured in the website, and even better. The views are just breathtaking, the neighborhood is quiet, relaxing and the house has everything you can imagine in terms of furniture.  Jerry really cares about his guests. He is a really helpful and will answer every question you have and guide you through your arrival, stay and departure. The only word to describe this entire experience is: perfect. Encore merci mille fois et peut-être à une prochaine fois ! On espère fortement que le vin vous plaira!

Casa Buena Vista was truly everything we hoped it would be: a breathtaking view of the sea, very clean, and welcoming. We came during the off season and it was colder than we expected, so we enjoyed the warmth of the jacuzzi every night. Our host had also placed space heaters around the home which we very much appreciated. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. We loved having a kitchen and found it well stocked for our needs. We bought local caught fish and local wine at the supermarket nearby and both were amazing! We would love to come back when the weather is warmer and would definitely stay at Casa Buena Vista again.

A fantastic location to explore the area from. In November this area becomes very quite and felt like we had most of the beaches to ourselves. The hikes along the cost were breathtaking. Sitting in the Jacuzzi each night looking out over the sea was unbelievable. The place was perfect for our family of 4 – we didn’t even need the bottom bedroom so there is lots of space for a larger group. Jerry was fantastic and responding quickly and sorting out any issues that arose. Thank you for this lovely place – we will be back to the Costa Brava for sure!
